Part 2 model answer
I would like to talk about a simple change I made to my daily routine that has helped me save a considerable amount of time. The change was planning my daily activities in advance.
Previously, I often started my day without having a clear idea of what I needed to do. As a result, I sometimes wasted time deciding which task to complete first. I also found it difficult to concentrate because I had several things on my mind.
To solve this problem, I started making a to-do list every evening. I write down the most important tasks for the following day and arrange them according to their priority. I also try to limit unnecessary phone usage while studying or working.
This small change has made my routine much more organised. Instead of wasting time thinking about what to do next, I can focus directly on the task at hand. It also helps me avoid distractions and complete important activities before less urgent ones.
Another benefit is that I feel less stressed because I have a clearer picture of my responsibilities. Although I cannot always follow my plan perfectly, it gives me a useful direction throughout the day.
Overall, I believe planning ahead is one of the simplest ways to improve productivity. It has taught me that saving time is not always about working faster; sometimes, it is about working more intelligently.
Part 3 discussion
Why is time management important?
Time management is important because it allows people to complete their responsibilities efficiently. It can also reduce stress and help them maintain a better work-life balance. People who manage their time well often find it easier to achieve their goals.
Do young people waste too much time on smartphones?
I think some young people do. Social media and online entertainment can be addictive, especially when people use them without setting limits. However, smartphones are also useful for learning and communication, so the problem is excessive or unplanned use.
Is it better to plan everything or be flexible?
In my opinion, a combination of both is best. Planning helps people stay organised and meet deadlines, while flexibility allows them to deal with unexpected situations. A good plan should provide direction without making someone feel restricted.
How can technology help people save time?
Technology can automate repetitive tasks and make communication much faster. For example, online banking saves people from visiting a bank for simple transactions. Similarly, digital calendars and reminder apps help people organise their schedules efficiently.
Do people have less free time than in the past?
In some ways, yes. Modern life involves demanding jobs, education and constant digital communication. Although technology has made many tasks quicker, people often use the extra time for more work rather than relaxation. As a result, some people still feel that they are always busy.
